How does it work?

GB's innovative data matching technology, ID3, secures the highest possible match rates for organisations.

  1. ID3 technology matches the information input from URU or ID3 Check against a wealth of independent data sources including address records, register of birth and death as well as financial information simultaneously. Meaning that data verified using ID3 technology has a much higher match rate than competitive solutions.
  2. ID3 technology further cross-references the given data across all sources to provide a transparent view of whether or not the information matches that held remotely.
  3. If, for any reason, the data does not match, ID3 technology has also got the unique ability to authenticate identity documents, such as international and UK passports, utility bills, payment cards, etc. and, again, cross-references these for a clear picture on whether the applicant is a bona fide customer – or a fraudster.
  4. All checks are carried out simultaneously and results are delivered in less than one second.
