
Rob Laurence heads up GB’s DataAuthentication Division where he has been instrumental over the past three years in developing its unique identity management solutions – ID3 Check and URU. He has worked with GB since 1995 helping to bring it from a traditional data services business into a leading provider of cutting edge technology to combat fraud and financial crime.
He represents GB on several industry bodies including the BBA and FLA and has addressed government and industry associations including APACS, FSA and the Home Office on issues surrounding the protection of personal identity.
In his spare time Rob lives outside Bristol and is a keen outdoor enthusiast – recently completing the ID3 Challenge, a specific triathlon, in aid of a Nepalese charity designed to support a rural community in its struggle for self-sufficiency.

Micah is responsible for the International Market sector within GB's DataAuthentication team and has been working for the past 7 years in developing electronic identity verification systems for both online and offline organisations. This work has led to the development of consumer verification services for over 150 countries and the first single portal verification service which meets UK FSA and US Patriot Act KYC requirements in 7 of the top 10 global economies.
In early 2006, Micah joined GB to lead their development efforts in identity and location based verification services. He presently serves as International Business Development Manager for GB, which includes being in charge of technical and product development of GB’s ID3 identity verification service and building an international partnership network in the fight against fraud. Micah is a frequent speaker on cross-border AML and KYC requirements for financial service organisations in the US, Europe and Asia.
Micah graduated from Clemson University in 1998 with a double major and continued his studies at the University of Miami (FL) to work on his master’s degree. He presently resides in Chester, England with his wife and daughter.

Simon Ridge heads up the Financial Services team at GB’s DataAuthentication division. Working with the industry, Simon has been instrumental in developing GB’s understanding of the issues facing financial organisations in combating fraud and money laundering. He has been closely involved with an industry working party to develop an industry wide benchmark for the acceptance of electronic ID checks and represents GB on several trade bodies including the FLA and FTRC.
Simon leads organisations through a process of change management with a view to increasing profitability through improved customer interaction. His focus is on how financial services organisations can meet all their compliance requirements AND drive improved revenue through the business. He has presented at several events on reducing the cost of compliance through the adoption of electronic ID verification.
Simon’s background is in engineering and building design and he how lives in Warwickshire with his wife and young son.
